The source of the “coffee gold” Is Civets, a nocturnal animal that is similar to a cat and related to a mongoose. In the Philippines until recently the Civet was known as a pest, and was hunted for the meat that they could supply the hunter. But now the droppings they excrete are worth a small fortune. {Via}
