Grover Vineyards’ wine collection will drape an arty look in Febraurywith India’s renowned painters giving it a sparkling new touch. Artists like Jatin Das and Paresh Maity are on the ball to give the product a more sophisticated look.
“We are looking to give our wines a makeover to strengthen our position in the market.” said its director Kapil Grover. Though the terror attacks and slowdown have dampened wine sales to some extent, industry insiders believe that the consumption of wine will grow 20% annually to 9 million litre by 2010.
The induction of new wine drinkers is gaining momentum and wine is shedding its elitist tag to find shelf space in more households. However, wine makers concede that it will never become a mass-selling product. {Read On…}
