I think that that shyt is horrible when they die rats and other little creatures are going to crawl inside and out of their body like little tunnels. How dum do they look?

TO THE KIDS WHO HAVE GOOD PARENTS OR ONE GOOD PARENT & YOU’RE DOING THIS “JUST BECAUSE”, YOU NEED TO GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER!!! THIS IS UGLY IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD!!! I KNOW IT’S A BIT TOO LATE, THE DAMAGE IS ALREADY DONE.
What ever happened to self expression!! Come on people. Look past the corporate suit, for crying out loud, isn’t it better that they express themselves instead of hiding from who they are and potentially turning into another Ted Kaczynski or Jeffery Dahmer! Hello! Let people be themselves, you want to point fingers, then you should start with yourself!
Blanche, you are probably right. Or are you? The point is where do we draw the line? A “flasher” can be pardoned for “self expressing”. So shouldn’t it be within the acceptable norms of a civilized society? But then, hey, what’s normal anyway, right? Open minded is great, but not so much that your brain falls out…
Self expression? This is self mutilation. That’s a mental illness, and very sad.
I agree this is mental illness. Where are their parents. Self-mutilation is crazy and is unacceptable to society.
Get real young people and use you self expression for the good of all manking.
to most of the above: it’s not your body, so it’s not your problem. you don’t have to let these people babysit your kids, sell you a house or do your taxes… self expression, mental illness, self-mutilation, whatever you want to call it– beauty is in the eye of the beholder. personally, i don’t have any ‘body art’. it’s not their parents’ fault… exactly. i think it’s because ‘normal’ people like those who have commented here are so unaccepting to anything outside of their ‘normal’. time to break out of your glass cases
I feel that many of these kids will regret doing this to their bodies very very soon (if not already).
What difference does it make to anyone what these people do to themselves? None of these featured people appeared to be underage. It’s not illegal to mutilate your body. Personally it’s not my deal but I’m not about critizing other people for what they want to do as long as they aren’t hurting other people.
Some are those are actually beautiful. While some…are kinda sick. Whatever makes them happy. I would hate for someone to tell me what I can and cannot do to my body when it comes to piercings and tattoos. More power to them for not caring how other people view them.
What the HELL!!! Aliens really do exsist…………… What is self expression? Are we supposed to know? I bet none of these people could tell you what they are expressing. It’s all about drawing attention to one’s self. Why not try driving a sipke from one ear to the other. Oh well to each his own.

I think that self expression should not have to be explained. I personally have 14 piercings and four tattoos with more on the way, and yet my mom says she couldn’t be more proud of me. I also have family members who are heavily pierced or inked who still lead very successful lives. Is it really so outrageous? Some I will admit are a little extreme, but maybe that is what they are all about…as individuals diffrences will vary individually. Beauty to one may not be beauty to all, but that is what makes life more interesting.
Hey atleast if everyone in the futer starts looking like this, the new “old school”, which is the normal now, won’t have to worry about carrying a knife and what not around to protect themselfs. Just carry a magnet!!! or some pliers…
So if you get your ears pierced is that self mutilation too? Shall I go ahead and sign up for the mental ward now because I have my ears pierced? Who’s next in line? I do have to admit though that some of this is pretty freakish. I would be more worried about a kid who was slicing open their skin to feel the pain just to feel that they were alive.

but not to the max of not being able to know who is who and what is what. if you are going to express yourself or think something is cool it should be more discrete and public appropriate but then again who am i to say anything. i have a question though. how do people like this get a job? or what jobs that are formal are they able to obtain?

Fast forward these people about 60 years. How funny is it going to be when they are in a nursing home, sitting in a rocking chair drooling? I hope they might be thinking, “Why was I such a dumb ass when I was a kid?”

Its a few piercings, in some case a hell of a lot but still…………….its not like they are killing anyone or hurting anyone other than themselves (I would say it hurts like hell,lol). Some of you are going on as if these are drug addicts or murderers or something. I have 3 sons, 14yrs, 14yrs and 11yrs, would rather they got some ugly peircings or tattoos to rebel against their very strict mama than snort coke or pop Es.
FYI………its usually kids from very strict upbringings that do this stuff as a way of rebelling.
