    I don’t think these are really paintings. If you look closely, it looks very much like a photo with few brush strokes on it to make people believe they are paintings. Can’t imagine someone painting every single airline and the natural curves. Would be amazed if these were real paintings.

    Be amazed, Prassana. They are for real. This guy has some real talent. I think that aside from the fact that he has a real talent for painting, his care for the smallest details such as the worn out jeans of the girl in a such a subtle way make a drastic impression.

    Painting such as these almost always refered to photogaph(s), one shall be the main reference while a few more to capture the details, texture etc. No matter how the painter achieved his motives, one need a very talented hand and very good imagination capabilities to produce such painting as some of the paintings obviously a mix of photography and good imagination.. flying newspaper, a live monalisa covered by the cream-coloured cloth etc.

    Well, how would I say this to you? first of all, a painting is supposed to look like painting and not a photo. when it does, there’s no ART there, the image becomes very dead and two dementional. the colors are so dead. but of course, these are super good for mentalities such as yours,….i do understand you. my friend, takes more than this to recognize what art is. i used to do stuff like this when i was 14. even a cat can paint like this, all you need is a projector. this is shameful.
